Wishlist Goal: Nikki became a Poplin client about 3 or 4 years prior to the creation of her list. After completing the Style 360, she was set for a few years. Now, she was back for a tune up. After working from home full time for two years, she was ready to liven things up now that she had a hybrid schedule. Folks at her company wear a wide range of clothing. Men typically wear some form of chinos or jeans with a button down shirt. For women, style is trickier. Because Nikki is a director, it’s important that she communicates her success while still wearing pieces that are appropriate for her workplace. She has always loved Anthropologie, but many of their pieces swallow her petite frame. When she reached out, I knew immediately that I wanted her in a Pendleton coat. It embodies her personal style, color palette and is a great way to up her game for work without seeming overdressed. I built the list from there ensuring that everything works with everything else.

THIS. I’ve been dying to show it to you and it’s on super sale right now! This Pendleton coat is well made and has a timeless, identifyable print. I love this for you as it helps you elevate your look in a minute simply by swapping out a puffer. Super cold? Just layer a hooded puffer underneath and wear this as your final layer. I’d jump on this purchase before sizes go.

Jumpsuits are well suited for your lifestyle and this soft but polished choice from Anthro is a win for work or play.

A favorite from Noonday, these lightweight leather earrings are expressive and also have a one of a kind vibe. Coordinating with your other earth tones, they are a soft alternative to metal.

Yes! You certainly need some Shibori Tie Dye in your life and this dress from Jarbo is everything. Try it with or without a belt, depending on whether or not you feel like showing your shape. Regardless of approach, this high quality dress will work throughout the year and have a special feel that you go back to again and again. (Also, this one is navy.)

Olive and army green are winners for you and it is clear that a leather jacket in either green is the final piece to pull so many outfits together. This choice from Walter Baker is SO good. The quality is wonderful and so is the price. (I have three…..) Try it with the dress above or the outfit below. Really, it works with this entire list and the majority of your existing closet and is a nice balance for the multiple prints on this list.

Because so much of your life is on Teams, let’s ensure that you have tops that make you feel put together, especially on important work days. Sneakers are the new normal, but they don’t have to bring down your look. This pair from Stella McCartney and Adidas is a fun departure from the Adidas you are currently wearing. Although, I absolutely support you continuing to rock those, as well.

Noonday has an array of jewelry options that are authentic to your personal style and all of the products empower women around the world. So, there are quite a few suggestions from Noonday on this list. I like this pair because they offer up texture without complicating things by adding additional colors. This means they work with nearly everything, but still feel unique.

High waisted pants flatter your frame, as long as the rise is right. I think this pair from Aritzia are going to work well. Available in multiple colors, they are comfortable and also make you feel more put together than a pair of jeans or “soft pants.” It’s a nice balance when it’s time to head to the office and these work well with heels or flats, too.

It’s true, the eternal hunt for a show stopping pair of yellow sneakers continues. Until then, I’ve turned my attention to super cool sneakers with yellow on them ;) This hip vegan pair is ideal with your collection and offers more lift than a traditional sneaker. Plus… yellow.

I couldn’t stop myself. You will be as cool as you are now on and off the slopes.

Finish off this look with another stellar option for ankle boots. These are ORANGE.

When we met years ago, we wanted to inject more sexy, sophisticated pieces into the mix, too. We did that. Over the years, COVID has made some of those pieces feel irrelevant. But, I also want to be sure we keep that feeling in your collection. This GREEN leather tank is a great way to do that. Try it with jeans for a casual and put together look or something much dressier for a night out. The price is right and because it is also Walter Baker, the quality is great, as well.

Madewell petite jeans have worked well for you. Let’s try J.Crew’s version. I’m a fan of this kick crop pair for your body shape and starting with a petite choice makes tailoring even easier, if necessary.

How about a fresh shapeless jumpsuit that is expressive, comfortable and works well with your color palette?

Slip on shoes are vital right now as you want something you can toss on when you head out the door to drop the boys somewhere. I’m really into this pair for you as they come in natural, rather than white, so they are more appropriate to the vibe and color scheme of your collection. And, of course, they look great with the pants above.

A denim jumpsuit is so you and these are two options that will make this a go-to whether you are heading to the office, at home or out in the world.

I couldn’t make this entire list without a pair of yellow shoes to recommend! This slip on sneaker in suede, your fav!, is sure to get lots of action and the price is right, too.

I think you’ll have a lot of fun with Farm Rio. This dress, in particular, is crazy flattering and the fabric is nice and soft. You’ll never want to take it off. The deep V has a sexy vibe that you won’t want for work, but will otherwise love.
