Wishlist Goal: After several years in the military, Beth was at a loss when it came to clothing… and yet, she also wasn’t. As it turned out, she had an extraordinary amount of knowledge of designers and trends. She simply didn’t know what to choose or how to wear it. As a nurse living in Seattle with two young children, she also couldn’t figure out what styles that appealed to her also made sense for her life. She lives in a posh neighborhood, so she felt she could pull off luxurious pieces running around town, but she really needed a system and some guidance to kick things off. Enter the Uber Wishlist! We also tailored a number of pieces, reworking them into styles that felt authentic to her.

Well, this has been a fun adventure. Based on our conversations and your Closet Edit, I’ve taken quite a bit of inspiration from Kate Middleton and Victoria Beckham. The idea here is embracing the luxurious vibe that speaks to you with a nod to heritage brands. Naturally, we need to ensure that pieces work for your lifestyle and flatter your frame. It’s also vital that we opt for clothing that doesn’t feel mass produced or mimics what everyone else in the neighborhood is wearing. It’s possible we’ll end up tailoring a number of pieces and you may be happier ordering more than one size to find the best fit. (My recommendations are based on the measurements you shared with me.) Just remember: items can be returned, so feel free to experiment.

I’m VERY enthusiastic about introducing you to Marcella NYC. The brand is all about keeping things simple, luxurious and adding unexpected elements (like asymmetrical necklines, exposed zippers, cut outs and more). The fabrics feel lovely, especially for the price point and the brand is all about fair wages and good business practices. Your coat is the most important item in your closet and this asymmetrical option is sure to wow. Yes! The off white choice is elevated, confident and mix and matches easily. It’s also great for your psoriasis. If you’d rather opt for a darker color that is easier to maintain with the little ones, black or grey are stellar choices for you.

This shape gives the illusion of an hourglass silhouette and maximizes your body shape.

It’s time to update your tote bag. The goal is a bag that holds snacks, your wallet, all the random things a working mom needs, while keeping your outfit feeling high end…. but not fussy. Achievable? Of course. I vote for this Shinola tote. While Shinola isn’t actually a heritage brand, it sure feels like one (and that was intentional). Celebrating that the brand is “Made in Detroit”, the company founded in 2011 is all about Americana luxury and is just right to complement your cosmopolitan collection. This handbag folds in nicely and any of the color options are a win for you. Go with your gut.

You’ve also got a lovely green bag for everyday items. Let’s give you a fresh approach with this circle bag from Marc Jacobs. It can fit nicely inside the tote above or be worn solo. And, this shape is lovely for your frame.

You really appreciate a sophisticated sea of neutrals, especially when that can be achieved with various points of interest. That can be done with textures or tailoring and in this case, unexpected cut outs are the way to go. A warm, soft turtleneck with an edge feels designer without the price tag. Layer it under the coat above and pair with either the tote or the circle bag.

Yes! We can stick with neutrals throughout the outfit OR we can introduce a bold color, like this fuchsia pair of pull on pants from Boden. I’m a big fan of these pants that are able to ride the line between dressy and casual, depending on style. They will always feel more elevated than jeans and styling can ensure you don’t feel overdressed. These should be nice and comfortable for movement at work. Also, the cut out on your top draws the eye, then the color and shape of these pants grabs attention, too, ensuring that your figure stays nice and balanced.

Finish off this look with a black shoe or try these animal print slides for more complexity.

I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about your accessories and I vote we go for keeping things nice and simple, as a rule. Ideally, fine jewelry, perhaps something you have made at Everling Jewelry using a combination of your existing and unused pieces, is the way to go. Smaller, feminine choices are consistent with your style, your values and will mix and match easily.

There may be times when you’d like something lightweight and more expressive. In those situations, try this unique pair of earrings from Noonday. Supporting Fair Trade and empowering women in India, this pair works with virtually any outfit and is also an easy way to bring gold and silver pieces together.

As a tribute to Theory sleeveless cowl neck top, these equally functional choice will feel fresh and functional. Try it with the pants above, the slip on sneakers and add in those earrings for the win.

It’s evident that you have occasions to get dressier and we want to be sure you have exciting options to turn to and minimize stress. Try a convertible bra and remove one strap when you wear this maxi dress from Anthropolgie. Layer the coat up top over it if your night out is in the colder months or layer the leather jacket over top for an indoor/outdoor approach.

We know you are a big fan of the Petite Phillip Cardier Tank. Although, less enthusiastic about the price. That being said, a quality watch is essential for your authentic personal style. This option from Michele empowers you to mix and match gold and silver and works as you are more or less interested in either over the years. The price is exciting, too.

While I do adore the Shinola tote above, this is another stellar option that introduces more color into your wardrobe. You’ll likely be fine with just one tote so go with what speaks to you or stock up if you’d like options.

Scarves work well for your authentic personal style AND they can elevate your style. This gorgeous option from Marcella NYC is sure to be the ideal finishing piece on an array of looks and blue is ideal with your eyes.

You can never have enough Breton tees, especially with your authentic personal style. Stock up and mix and match with abandon. I vote for these two color combos from Boden, at a minimum.

Layer it up! Combine the scarf, Breton tee and a ponte blazer for a relaxed and structured look. Yes, it can be done. You’ll adore this blazer as it’s cozy and polished. The detailing draws the eye to various points, making the look even more feminine without being girly.

Another of my favorites, this wide leg ankle length pant from Boden comes in three dreamy colors for you. You’ll love the comfort of these pants as well as the high waist that makes movement at work nice and easy. The belt defines your waist and minimizes your stomach. Essentially, they are magical pants. And, they really bring this look together.

Sneakers with a wide toe box that keep you comfortable, bring a slightly sporty vibe into the mix and have a luxurious energy. They are the ideal final component to this look and will work effortlessly with your new and existing pieces.

If I didn’t know about your love for the Cardier, I’d recommend this beauty from Shinola. Unexpected, functional and unique, it’s all the things.

How cool is this?! When you are inclined to integrate more edgy into your look, a leather jacket is a timeless choice. In this case, we’re going for something that is sure to draw compliments and feels like a piece Victoria Beckham would be proud to wear. Plus, it’s leather, so it’s going to feel nice and luxurious.

Feeling extra expressive? You can pair that leather jacket with this jumpsuit. Feeling less so? Try this jumpsuit solo (available in lots of great colors) or with a blazer over top. You’ll be comfortable and able to dress for those awkward situations where you aren’t exactly sure what the dress code is.

A long vest will elongate your frame, including your legs and is going to help even the simplest of looks (jeans and a t-shirt or sweatshirt) feel hip and sophisticated. Vests offer flexibility throughout the year to keep you warmer without tossing on the old black cardigan. Try this with a sleeveless, short sleeve, 3/4 length sleeve or long sleeve option underneath and say, “hello” to versatility.

A jersey tee that looks sophisticated and is functional for everyday. Feel free to layer a tank top underneath or wear it more like a boatneck than the off the shoulder styling, when you want a less sexy approach.

Good American is a great choice for you when it comes to denim. You’ll appreciate the one size fits four approach that gives you flexibility as your weight changes over time. Have fun on that site if you’d like to stock up on more pair of jeans. Nordstrom also carries limited sizes in the brand.

We’ve got the vest, the Katie “tunic” that can be adjusted to keep your legs nice and long, a pair of jeans from Good American and then these beauties from Rag&Bone. You like bold sneakers and this blue is all the things. This retro styling is also an alternative to the norm and OLIVELA is good for the world.

Being comfortable doesn’t mean you need to feel sloppy. This super cozy jumpsuit is a great choice for those days when you just want to wear sweats but the world is forcing you to try a little harder:)

I’ve been DYING to get here. So, Veronica Beard. Let’s talk about it.

The Veronica Beard jackets and dickies are the greatest idea for you EVER. They are an investment, to be sure. Knowing your style, I expect you’ll be wearing them for years to come. Pick up one jacket (there are lots of style choices, but I like the single breasted scuba for you) and then stock up on dickies over time. You zip the dickie into the jacket to give the illusion that you have a layered outfit on. They keep you cozy, your look luxurious and prevent bulk. Scuba offers a different texture making mixing and matching easy. But really, go with the jacket that pulls at your heartstrings. One of my favorite dickies for you is this one that looks like a denim jacket. So cool.

Here’s the magical scuba jacket. I vote for navy, but really, you can’t go wrong with any color.

It’s important that we give you a solid collection of pants to choose from . Each pair should be functional for work or play and mix and match with your new and existing collection. Here are two choices to add to the. mix. Let’s try them all and you can see if some styles speak to you more than others when you try them on.

Let’s be real. Everyone needs a great hoodie. This one makes you look as good as you feel.

You’ll adore these joggers from US. Either color is a great decision and the cut will flatter your frame nicely. Try them with the hoodie or any of the tops on this list. They are comfortable for work and also just right for the weekend or a night out. Options abound.

A v-neck 3/4 length sleeve tee is always a great choice for you. Try it in neutrals or mix things up with either of these colors that will work with the majority of your collection and bring more color near your face.

Next up, American Eagle jeans are shockingly wonderful. They are insanely cheap, hold up well over time and fit nicely, too. I like the idea of a white pair of jeans for you. Those can be worn throughout the year, any day that it isn’t actually raining. These pants are super cool with the blazer and dickie.
